We recruit volunteers for the following positions:

• Foodbank Coordinator – is an essential part of Opoka’s FOOD PROJECT, working closely with local shops and food banks and providing regular access to a sustainable supply of food to Opoka’s most vulnerable clients, required to have a full driving license and access to their own vehicle.
• Website editor
• Social media specialist
• Helpline worker
• Befriender – a person offering emotional support
• Peer mentor – a person who has experienced violence and wants to share his experience with others
• Administrator
• Fundraiser

What we are looking for:

• creativity
• enthusiasm and great work ethic
• being open to challenges,
• ability to work in a team,
• experience working on the phone and operating Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, but very comprehensive training will be provided to you.
